Gleeson College is a Catholic co-educational secondary school situated in the north-eastern suburbs of Adelaide. Since its establishment in 1989, it has been nurturing students from Years 7 to 12.
Well-resourced with contemporary learning spaces and modern facilities, Gleeson College is complemented by the shared resources of the Golden Grove Secondary Schools Campus (One+), which also includes Pedare Christian College and Golden Grove High School.
Our college values community, evident through our House system including our vertical House system of Pastoral Care. This system fosters relationships among students across different year levels, creating communities within our larger college environment. Supported by dedicated care group staff, our House system forms the foundation for a partnership between the college, parents, and students, ensuring each student receives support and guidance for both wellbeing and academic excellence.
Named after the Very Reverend James Gleeson, Emeritus Archbishop of Adelaide, our college strives to follow the Archbishop’s personal credo, “Cor Unum” (One Heart). Throughout his distinguished career, Archbishop Gleeson demonstrated a strong personal commitment to justice and peace. We encourage our students to pursue these goals, by fulfilling the "Gleeson 10", our 10 Core Values, in their personal and academic lives, and in keeping with our Catholic tradition.
