Dear Gentle Readers,

It was the event of the winter when the Gleeson College Year 11 students donned their finery to attend their annual Formal at the Sfera's Convention Centre on Friday 5 July 2024. In a display of colour, elegance and style they mingled under the glittering chandeliers of the main ballroom, faces flushed with excitement and wonder of youthful ambition, and the steadfast bonds of friendship. One could not miss the lively chatter, laughter and camaraderie which echoed throughout the room reminding all in attendance of the irreplaceable joy found in the company of dear friends. 

To this author, it was indeed a night of splendour to which we have become accustomed by Gleeson College. And dare I say, it may well have been the 'Diamond' of the season.
